We are so happy and fortunate to have had Simon from EGC Building working on our huge renovation. From our initial enquiry Simon was prompt and thorough when reviewing the scope of works, which was immense. We purchased a house requiring total rejuvenation with areas that were initially unusable. Thanks to Simons skills we now have a home with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with two living areas. Simon is very multi- skilled and a Master Carpenter, so our complex job was handled professionally and looks really amazing. He gave us some good options to bring our vision to realization. The quality of work is A+ and other trades such as Plastering, Plumbing, Electrical and Tiling - even bi-fold door installation - were completed from his team of equally quality tradesmen. Many areas had to be constructed in a bespoke was due to the age of our home and the old and new was all brought together with Simons Master carpentry. Simon is easy to collaborate with, he listens and offers advice and guidance throughout the renovation process. One thing we were especially impressed with is that he arrives when he says he will and is on time and really puts in the hard work each and every day on site. His project management is thorough and precise, he knows and organizes everything to flow smoothly with other trades. We thoroughly recommend Simon and EGC Building. From day one Simon was both professional and informative. He answered my many questions promptly, before we even got to where I said yes to the quote. I had previously had a kitchen renovated and it was very stressful so much that I put off having the bathroom done for 18 months. But Simon & his crew really put me at ease. From day one the project was managed impeccably, with no days when work wasn't being done. I was initially quoted 3 weeks for the renovation, but apart from a couple of very minor items, it was finished in 2. Every single crew that came through my place cleaned up after themselves, which according to my girlfriends is a rarity amongst tradies. And they all were happy to make minor adjustments in my ideas where needed. I would use Simon & his team again.
